Wow...that is comical.

I have a friend whom I served in the military with who started a small company selling Yeti style coolers in Texas. Veteran owned and operated by Vets. I am his East Coast Rep....I have sold a few but I don't try and sell them. I have 3 demos. People are blown away by how similar they are to the Yeti's...yet 1/4 the cost. There are other companies out there that do the same and sell comparable stuff.
(I'm not trying to sell by the way, just saying that there are a lot of companies out there that sell stuff just as good, if not better, than Yeti brand). I chucklel every time I see someone with one.

I'm going to show him this and tell him to start selling fishing buckets!!

i have a 75 tundra yeti, and a smaller RTIC. The RTIC is the exact same cooler (pending lawsuit) for 1/2 the price. Although i do like my yeti.

I wonder if those coolers are similar to the old VCRs and Mambo Minnows where one place makes them all and each company purchases them and puts on their own marketing label name?

Can't fit one in my yak front storage well so I don't care. I could fit one behind me but I would never spend that kind of money.

It's actually brilliant marketing - yeti has done well building a brand around outrageously expensive coolers. It just proves that sportsmen in general will spend a chitload of money if they think its "better"

I always say for fishing gear and for music gear - the more money you spend, the better fisherman/musician you will become!

I have 2 Yeti coolers and they are worth every penny I paid for them! I have the insulated mugs too....friggin awesome!!! Its like the VS pliers.......they will last a lifetime but they cost! My ice lasts 10 times longer than with previous coolers and the savings has paid for the coolers ten fold!

The bucket??? How #^&#^&#^&#^&ing dumb does Yeti think people are????

Almost time to get our fish on!!!
