In praise of the wbmaster!!

Dear Fellow Surf junkies,
I wanted to take this time to personally, from the far reaches of my inner soul, to thank Mr. Redmond.

He has given to us all, who seek it, a forum in which we can voice our comments in an ethical, moral, intelligent, unfragmented, coincidental, honest, forthcoming, far reaching, loving, way.

For this stupendous, courteous, and labor intensive, time robbing, achevment. I Bill Nolan and all surf fishers from far reaches of the globe commend you on a job well executed!!

I hereby proclaim and all will attest same, Saturday the 23rd day of April in the year of our lord 2000. Striped-bass.com day!!!!!!

P.S. I wish the rain would end!!!! I am heading out to lunch in a big way!

Reading this very tounge-in-cheek !! Thanks Bill... Kinda funny how bad weather preventing the all out break of another long fishing season get to us all. Who would have thought that there would be such a thing as the Spring Doldrums??? That the stir-crazability factor would be this high at the end of April?

Oh well, got a few fish under the belt on my rainy week of vacation. Not a total loss.

On a better note, this sight has been up for a month now (still much work to be done) and I am excited on how things are progressing. I thank all of you that have come here so far to help get this site launched. I sincerly appreciate the effort of those working with me to get this off the ground... Thanks Bill. Thanks to my wife that has been putting up with me banging away on this keyboard!!!

And again, thanks to those of you that filter through and add to Striped-Bass.Com

Hope everyone has a Happy Easter and Passover!!

April 23rd is coming up soon

How will you all celebrate Striped-bass.com day?

I will be working but will tip my hat to John on creating and maintaining this website for the past 2 decades

sorry for the necropost

What Bob said. I will be forever grateful for the great fishermen and friends I’ve met through this site.

I also still believe this site has the best collection of fishermen (when everyone is posting) than anywhere else.

Thanks, John

John & members of SB .words can,t express the feelings I have for this site , John , the members I met in person & on line .
I found this site in a time of my life when it was really a {NEED} for me .
&&&&&&& then to find out that JR lived a mile a way >damn
the legs , the nights on the dock , hooters, TFCTF < that was like being a a trip ………. FMS,s running on a thread mill
But thanks G/B those trips trips & the timing was priceless & unforgettable on CUTYY .
the friendships that would be formed will never be broken & to say I love the men & woman on this site . they are the most caring , straight up group of people one could be likey enough to know .
I,ve had the great fortune to fish with many of you ……. early, fishing , hard fishing , but it always had a laugh spot .even commercially …….. I found a way to bring in the fun part which is difficult in the kind of fishing .
I,m going to cut this short . because I,m breaking down …….. WITH the out pouring of love & support that was shown to my family in Sheila.s battle with cancer & {OH} also mine [ Cutty] with diapers .
her wake & the members that came & stayed , some I knew personal & some on line only was unreal real ..JPI &his wife from NJ …….. Criss L stayed in the corner of the room the whole night & much more .will & is never forgotten .
I truly hope in some ways I brought some positive insight to this site & a lot with some kind kind ov visiual & verbal enjoyment .
Thankyou . SB.COM >> Mike

ENJOY WHAT YOU HAVE !!!

In case everybody forgets, John’s been waging war for us all for the last 20 years.

We bitch
Get drunk
Get arrested
Fight with each other
Get married
Get divorced
Have kids

Now John, does all of the above, quite much better than me, and still finds time to administer this site.

We’re all very lucky to call him a friend, and also very lucky he does all of this work to provide the infrastructure for our on line community.

You rock, John.
Thank You

I hope nobody makes you clean up after Easter dinner, or I’ll kick their asses.

kind of hard to ban someone for speech when you can't understand what they are saying
