Hot Tub Time Machine

hilarious movie. if you were in your early 20's in the late 1980s you have to see this.

I think it was 2 X as good as the hangover

I haven't seen it, but it sounds like it falls along the similar lines as "The Wedding Singer" with the 80's references.

nah - wedding singer was a feel good romantic comedy. this is a raunchy, sex, drug, movie for 40yr olds. there is some overlap with WS and the hair metal bands and funny clothes of the 80s but it stops there. This movie will be much more significant for guys that are 38-45 and used to party hard in their early 20s. You dont realize the lens you used to look through the world and there are a lot of things in the movie that demonstrate how much we change as we get older and our views. Package that into an absurd plot that the movie even mocks and some good acting and it was a laugh riot. Somehow today I feel older but not missing the past all that much as it was more complicated than what I can handle today

Thems big shoes to fill, that movie was a riot.

I fall right into the age category you list, and don't remember much before 25yrs old, so I know my partying quota exceeded the norm .

I'll have to see if it's on netflix.

we finally watched it last night. It was alright, I got a good kick out of it. wife thought it was lame, but what does she know anyway.
Do have to say that it was one of the best uses of swear words, both in timing and context of probably any movie I've seen.
