Super easy "wax" that lasts

Used it last season, and I was EXTREMELY impressed. Super easy to put on, no buffing. wipe on/wipe off.
Of course, your gel has to be in good shape. But the stuff actually works as advertised.

Glad it worked for you. It is a polymer, not a wax. Just like Rejex, which has been what I have been using for eight years. I guess Meguiars decided if you can't beat the, join them.......

Correct. very similar to Rejex. So easy to use and lasts all season as long as you don't get any cleaners on it that can strip it.

I did not see much info on Meguires site, so here is the skinny on why polymers instead of wax.... IMO the future of wax products looks bleak in the face of this becoming more widely known and accepted.

Synthetics are designed to penetrate gel coat and bond to it. Somewhat like akin moisturizer. (Sorry of that link stated as such)

Good enough to my eyes. Shine really comes from a smooth buffed/polished surface.
I'd guess car buffs opt for waxes that will give a deeper shine on a pristine surface. But I can't tell the difference on the boat between polymers and wax. |

I am pretty sure you can apply wax over these products for more protection. I have always been a Collinite guy.

I used the meguires nxt polymer on my hull yesterday after using collinite cleaner. Very effective and easy to apply. I will probably hit the back half with collinite caranuba paste just in case some blood needs cleaning👌

I've always had good luck with Meguiar's Flagship marine wax.

You shouldn't need to apply a last coat. Should be good to go after the Rejex or whatever polymer you choose. It is a final coat. And if you want to put more on, you would need to clean the wax off before applying more polymer.... My personal experience is that a polymer is easier to apply and lasts longer. No brainer for me....

16 oz bottle will handle my 20' CC Grady for a couple of years.

I'd look into (Ultimate Paint Guard Plus) UPGP Supposed to be even better than Rejex. Probably what I'll try in a few years when the McGuires I have runs out.

Here is my feed back on Ultimate Paint Guard Plus
Cons
1) a pricy 34.00 bucks for 12 oz bottle
2) hard to be sure you covered everything cant see no haze to follow
Pros
1) easy one no buffing
2) used less then.25 off a bottle did 1 truck a car and whole boat
the Truck hadn't been washed all winter quick wash and dry then I applied no other prep
