Yard Sale Idiots!!!

Its that time of year! You are driving down the road.....minding your own business when all of a sudden the jerk-off in front of you suddenly slams on the brakes and either stops dead in the middle of the road gazing at the yard sale, half pulls over with his arse half in the road, or pulls over and opens the car door without checking to see if anyone is going to rip his door off before opening it!!!! I swear these idiots see a yard sale all of a sudden and their mind just goes blank and then dances with visions of how much useless crap they can jam into their car for $1.50!!!!!

I hate yard salers!!!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

did they have any plugs?

There is a fine line that seperates a fisherman from a fool standing in water swinging a stick.

will cook for food
...and plugs

Cool

We were driving home from my son's this morning and my wife tried her new ploy as we passed a flea market. "Maybe they have plugs?"
"Nice try", as i kept driving.

That's what I was thinking Larry. How'd the discussion go from yard sales to a list of fishing witicisms

Mom in a mini van pulls over up ahead to a yard sale. She gets out of the van ,eyes fixed on here target and walks up the driveway to a pile of junk . Meanwhile, the side door on the mini van opens and little kids come jumping out into oncoming traffic . Good thing I drive defensively . Good thing mom wasn't fine and my gaze wasn't fixed on her walking up the drive way . I'd be front page news today .. Idiot .

One man's trash is another man's treasure.

I grab stuff at the transfer station/dump - scrap metal area for bicycle parts & other useable things like that. Sometimes I see a good looking pc that hasn't been stripped and heap into the pile.

I rarely stop at garage/yard sales. Even flee markets I don't go into much.

I leave the stuff I want to get rid of in my front yard w/ a big sign on it: FREE ................ BAMMMMMMM.... it is always gone fast. Busy cut thru street and the traffic is good for something!

Free stuff in the classiflieds here on S-B move pretty quick as well.

Some town like Newton & Beacon Hill have some awesome yardsales from what my friend's say who sue to run a consignment shop! They leave early Sat am or scope areas out Friday nite. They are hard core.

Between used fishing tackle and tools there are some good scores to occasionally be made at yard sales.
