VR trip 8.10.2014

Great trip south to Atl and W Atl with RIR and Tautog. Pulled in 2 of the biggest yellows in a couple of years. The biggest yellow was taken a small circle hook with a butterfish at 2:30am by a rookie offshore guy, John Nalen out of Winthrop. Great fun pitching bait to mahi's on the high flyers, think we brought home 15 small/med sized. I showed the team how to tile fish. RIR does the 400' drop and immediatedly catches his 1st tile. Tautog needed a little help from the Tile Whisperer but landed his 1st too.

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

Nice Phill, I was down at the shipping lanes yesterday (5 small Yellow Fin and tons of small Mahi). We almost picked up to move to West Atlantis but ended up staying. Chatter was hot on the radio of a good bite down there at WA. On the way back we stopped and fished the Claw for about an hour with no love. Some BFT were given up there earlier in the day.

I'm worse than you are... I sold my boat and I fish so much more now I don't have time to look for another boat. I really don't think I even need one. It is great to step off a boat and go home with a bag of fish and not worry about the boat. But my wife misses it.

Do I even need a sport-fish? Maybe I should get a trawler for her.
