Collided with a deer

I have been seeing a lot more deer on the roads recently,
including lots of near misses by other motorists on my commute.
Well... I drive pretty slow...but not slow enough...still couldn't stop in time. Sent the poor thing skidding across the road into someones front yard...I'm sure it was badly injured but it managed to stand and wobbled into the woods. There is a lot more damage there than meets the eye....bumper is bent... grille has several cracks .......and I made sure to get a pic with that patch of deer hair stuck in there for the record.

Wise remark made by my wife "If you were going faster you would have already passed before it crossed the road.

Oh dear .... I hit one a few years back and each rib from its rib cage left a dent on my hood. Deer are tough little bastards.

I hit one over 20 years ago, over $4500 in damage. Completely destroyed the front end of my wife's Outback.

I hit one a number of years ago
Tagged it with my bumper on a 86 truck no damage but the deer dropped in the road
Guy behind me said I’ll help you load it i was on my way to work and didn’t want it
We quickly threw it in the back of his station wagon
I wonder sometimes if it was dead or just knocked out
