took out my gear last night...

..as I was also taking out some Christmas decorations.

I keep forgetting just how many rods and tip-ups I really have.
That's not including my cusk rigs either.

My favorite rod setup from last season was a in-line micro crappie reel.
Although it wasn't designed for ice fishing in particular, it does work very well.

I can't wait for my first outing (on SAFE ice!) to get back into the swing.

I may have to head north or west to walk on the water, but I'm not going to risk an ice bath just for a fish.

I am a legend in my own mind!
