Wave height and interval Question

I may have asked this before however with my limited time off shore experience i need to ask again

What is great day off shore Wave height and interval ?

A good day

an Ok day

and a stay home day based on a 24 ft CC

I am talking Stellwagen the dump (would be on a great day) or cox's ledge

Anything smaller than a 6 sec interval sucks. 1' every 12 seconds makes me happy. 2' every 8 is fine 3' every 5 and I'm staying in bed

Bookmarking this, I may be going offshore myself and I'm very green. Great info to know!

Check the surf forecasts on Surfline. Usually pretty accurate. All the info is there.

Not so much if you're coming out of say the Bass River or most ports in Nantucket sound.
