100 days and the tuna will be here

I'm starting to get the itch ..... Cod fishing in 45 days and the tuna right after that. Who else is getting antsy?

I was fine until two weeks ago now I have 'the fever' bad!

How many times can one organize and re-organize tackle, practice new knots & splicing, check & re-check reels......

I need to check the braid on all my bottom fishing reels, some look discolored. Has anyone ever tried flipping the line so the top is on the bottom and the bottom is on top? If not, I'll just cut back the line that looks weathered.

Hopefully your motor doesn't have an attitude this year Matt.

Seriously goin to make an effort to get out after work at least 1 day a week. I hate it when I can see the bay and not be on it.

Only had that air bubble the first day after I replaced the fuel tank after that it was like a top. Hopefully you use your boat this year. It is ashame that th Honda sits in the driveway as much as it does instead of chasing tuna but then again the Duffy does ride alot better.

I'm itchy to fish: Just did the Big Game Bash Fri night/all day Sat. Seeing all those tuna pics makes one HUNGRY!

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

I have the smallest boat of all my friends so when the phone rings to go tuna fishing on another boat its foolish to say no. You are right though about having my boat sitting around, I've promised Dylan we would turn the month of July into a bail fest on the fluke like the good old days.

Bill's Duffy does have a nice warm heater and couch to boot.

Damn - I've got the heater but no couch - that's a fancy 31.

That couch is mighty comfy but you must get there before Ed. That heater will blow you out of the cabin, but it didn't help the night we slept on it in November 30 degrees, still great times,Charlie come to Papa.

That is the ultimate plan, but it may not be until Sept that I actually get the boat far enough along the way I want /need it to be before I go that far...but until then I will be more local and fish between Eastern LI and Ptown. Right now, my CC is melting already and the cover is still on the boat! Next winter I am going to look to move the boat very close to my home, either on my property (there are some issues with that) or I may rent a friends indoor paint shop for the winter and put the intire boat inside and work on it all winter.

He was spotted at the Regal Sword this past weekend gazing south with a sign that said 'Welcome Back.'

Those Mirage's ride like nothing else and boy are they amazing in big nasties. You could not have picked a better well made boat. When the boat is ready and finished I'm sure you'll be thoroughly satisfied. What do you have for powerplants?
