Just rear-ended somebody!!!

Totally my fault.Foot slipped off the brake approaching an intersection
and bang.

2002 Hyundai Elantra vs. full size SUV.....loser=Hyundai.

Amazing what 2mph can do to a shoebox.Time for something better as this thing has been the worse vehicle I've ever owned.

Blessing in disquise?

Everybody's fine, except for shiitbox car.Hopefully the ins.company totals it and then give me the difference minus the deductable so I pay this peace of crap off. Then I can start clean with a brand new car and be in debt for the next 60-72 months(hopefully at 0%APR!!!).

Question 2 questions

was there no tread on your shoe?
was the rubber brake pad very worn out?

you have to analyze these areas to prevent a recurrence
because you lucked out this time not injuring someone.

hey accidents happen.....fact of life...
but you might want to change a habit
or circumstance so it won't happen in your next car.

that being said, and hopefully not sounding judgmental
i'm glad your OK.

My wife had a hyundai when I met her. Paid over sticker for it. Best day of my life was one Xmas morning on the Mass Pike...made it to rt495 from Watertown...burn baby burn. Right in the middle of the toll booth. Had all we could do to get out it lit quick.
