Another addict

New to this site and posting. Very happy with what I have been able to glean from these threads so far. I appreciate the candid responses many poster give to some of the questions, no matter how basic. Fishermen do not have a stellar reputation for their truthfulness so it is refreshing to read about lure choice and colors, retrieval speeds, tides and moon phases.

I just returned from a few days of fishing the Derby on MV. Had a blast. I guess we're going to hazard the Cape this weekend, along with about a zillion other folks. I'll be in S. Yarmouth and have never fished CC before so any thoughts about accessible areas to surfcast would be appreciated.

Anyway, thrilled to be here among folks who share a love of fishing.

Welcome to the site. Where do you fish most of the time?

I live in New Haven CT area but I lived on the Vineyard for 7 years a while back and try to get there as often as possible. I'd like to explore RI. I'll be poking around the Cape this weekend, see what turns up.
