Think the Allstar 1208 is a little heavy for the 1.5 oz stuff. But it rocks with 2.5-4oz.

The 1208 Batson and Amtak are lighter than the Allstar 1208, and work well with the 1.5 to 2.5oz.

My opinion...
1.5 to 3 oz
Batson 1208
Amtak 1208
Allstar 1207

2.5 oz and up
Batson 1209
Amtak 1209
Allstar 1208
Allstar 1206 <--- (great 2pc. rod for 3oz.)

But as always..... just another humble opinion...
