Wind chill is brutal. 28 degrees with 15mph equals 16 degree wind chill.

I ice fished once and never went back. I traded a bunch of custom tilts to Ricky Bomba for a Tattoo Darter.

No boat, back in the suds.

Ice fishing is more about the drinking and the grub than actual fishing.

Ice fishing is basically "tailgating".

Whenever I express that I'm bummed that winter is here and fishing is over, and someone says "why dont you go ice fishing" I get instantly annoyed! hahahha
Ice fishing does NOT scratch the same itch for me... If I never went again , I wouldn't notice

Was never for me either. If it was for big
Pike or Lakers maybe I’d feel different. But when the dog and I would go to the pond to meet my friends on the ice it was for the grilled meats. Then we’d go have a nice walk in the woods.

May fortune favor the foolish....
