^ They are pretty cool, but let me catch up to moe. first...

Also, when fall arrives I always dig this guy out. Maybe because I used to have it in my truck while at the vineyard derby every year.

The Biscuits are an acquired to taste. You have to see them live to believe it. The different versions of their songs are insane talent-wise.

Other bands to check out : Strangefolk, String Cheese Incident, Galactic...

Furthur is coming to Mullins in early november. Check em out if you haven't. Even though Bob and Phil are pushing 70, they still blow all the other jam bands away, IMO. They're like a rejuvenated Grateful Dead.

My buddy saw Further this some summer and said it was one of his all-time favorite shows...and that's saying a lot.

I've seen Phil and Friends and they were pretty good...

Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio

Funny how music just seems be a recurring theme with the Derby. Just need something to get you going as you drive to a spot. Picked up Warren's first on vinyl last weekend while antique browsing with the wife.

Junior for me this week

saw this on Tube as well

One of my favorite songs/covers of all time...

Original song was written by Andy Wood, the lead singer of Mother Love Bone, the band that Pearl Jam was spawned from

Saw these guys at the OceanMist not too long ago. Relatively unknown, but very good. The mandolin player shreds:

"That large bass rise in the dim light of the false dawn, and take my steel-lipped swimmer. It will thrash, pull like mad and throw water all over the place before it dives for refuge.
This is why I am a surfcaster." - D.J. Muller
