I would always be a little leary of one part finishes for plug clear coats. I have tried many things and found not a lot of durability with one part finishes. The 2 part paints and epoxies hold up much better since they have a catalyst to aid in the curing process.
If you don't mind if the finish wears off or doesn't protect the wood all that much, you could use a varnish or even a laquer if you wanted a simple one part clear.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Since I went to boiled linseed and thinner, dipped not soaked and left to dry for a week.
Then buzz can primer
Then buzz can paint
Then buzz can clear
I have had no problems with peeling finishes
There is a lot to be said for thin finishes.

Niles: You have met “people”, haven’t you?

Guyver I got a refund last nite finally. I can't ship this stuff as it's ORM for UPS. If you want it somehow you will have to pick it up. Let me know otherwise it's going to hazmat.

Should send these guys back to English class maybe they'll learn how to spell polyurethane before they print it on their label

I was going to send you a PM but I can't figure out how . No PM's because you're commercial?
