Last I talked with Jr he was thinking about doing plugs again but that was a couple months back so not sure his plan now. You can buy grommets online from NJTackle.

John Jr put a message up a few years ago but I don't remember where. he said he was closing the business and was going to pursue what he always wanted to do. I don't remember what that was.

No boat, back in the suds.

I last talked to John Jr a couple of years ago and he said he wanted to pursue graphic art I think.

I hear ya. I'm still working for BackBeach at Franklin CC cutting trees and mowing but Korker spikes and rock just don't agree with my knees anymore.

in the rocks

At 65 I hope to have maybe 10 more good surf years. I fished harder last year than I have in a long time. Although I did always fish I could not put in the time required to really keep on the fish. I mean I caught but last season I was able to fish as much as physically possible and it is a hell of a lot harder than it used to be. As I remember though it was never easy. Recommitting to physical strength and endurance this winter and hope to be back at it harder than ever this coming season, God willing.

I heard some rumblings late last season that you got into a couple truly big fish. If true, congrats. Perhaps we'll cross paths this season.
