special election for John Kerry's seat

Interesting to see who won the Republican primary...Gabriel Gomez, a former Navy SEAL, son of Columbian immigrants, attended Harvard...supports term limits.

The Democratic candidate has been in Congress since 1976, and presumably is therefore not a huge fan of term limits. I never heard of him. Has he done anything significant in the 600 years he's been in Washington?

It's becoming less and less shocking to see how a candidate that ducks and dodges multiple debate requests, has campaign ads that are better fiction than any Harry Potter novel, and is as personal as Kerry could win in a landslide.

I wonder how many nursing homes were emptied to pump up his vote?

Man, when they say that Mass is the home of the Democratic machine, they weren't kidding.

Of course with any "machine" when the parts break down, the machine dies. We can only hope that whoever has their hand up his arse (aka puppet-master) falls asleep during the main election.

The ironic part is that Markey was pushing for term limitation a few years ago. Now he's banking on his life long political status.
I'd bet he doesn't even know how to get to his house in Malden. It's a long way from Delaware.

Yes, but that won't happen in this state.
Yes, see previous reply.

Let's also push for jail term limits, so that when (not "if") they are caught doing whatever criminal activity they are doing they serve they full term, and not get a hand-job...errr.. I mean a slap on the wrist.
