I wonder if Deval

will totally insult Romney and appoint him for the balance of the five months before the senate election, so he can't run during the regular election?

Because you know Romney wants it badddddddddddddd.....................He is really Jonsing for this senate seat. I'll bet he has allready transferred about $50,000,000.00 into an account.

Or will Deval show absolutely no class and appoint himself?

does romney still maintain a permanent MA residence,.. i seem to remeber him moving out of state... or, will he carpet bag back here, to try and get it...

man, that would assure us of becoming a backwater state...with 2 photo-op senators, if he does manage to get it...

Dodd and Hatch seem to be pretty loose about their desires to get Vicki into Ted's seat, even if only for short term...

if deval saw the poll showing Christy Mihos beating him, (and I am sure he did), if the election for gov was held today...he might just appoint himself.... just so he can secure some "appointed" position in DC...after his short term as Sen. was up...

meybe Joe junior will come out of his retirement in the "non-profit" sector and run for the replacement seat... doubtful... maybe he can get Pam Kelly to be his campain manager....

There is no way that any law preventing an interim Senate appointee from seeking election to the seat would ever stand up to a court challenge.

And there is nothing that would prevent Romney--or anyone else that Coupe Deval would name--from telling him to shove the appointment up his ass

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools, because they have to say something.

Mitt sold his MA and Utah houses, and bought Cliff Robertson's old LaJolla California 12 million dollar beachfront estate.... so, a mere technacality, I am sure, but he is no longer a MA resident..... (I for one, hope it stays that way)

being a Cali resident now...meybe he want's Arnold's job??

The Long Distance Runner
While other 2012 Republican Presidential hopefuls crash, burn, and sputter, Mitt Romney is perfecting his Mr. Perfect Approach.

Mitt in '12

man.. what a dream canditate, and when he becomes president...
he will make us long for the days of GWB...

while i do not like deval, never have, never will, at least he holds fairly true to whatever it is he believes, as opposed to Mitt, who believed in whatever benifited him, at the moment... hey, he wears magic underwear, that should make him unbeatable.....

Thankfully even the DeVos money can't buy him the presidency.

Where does this statement come from? What does Patrick even believe in? Could you give some examples?

Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio
