New GOP rules-

All Bills will be put up on the web for the citizens to see for at least 3 days before voting.
Sounds familiar but Obama never implemented it.

Each Bill will be required to show where it falls under the Constitution
before voted on. Introduced by Congressman Scott Garret.

The Constitution will be read out loud when Congress re-convenes.

Welcome "Change", but let's wait and see.

I love the Republicans the other week standing up to ban the earmarks they themselves inserted just earlier this year. Freaking hypocrites...

The GOP will try to cash in on the anti-establishment tone of the mid-term election, but most of them are the same old politicians out to retain their own power. They can get away with it as they complain about Obama, but they might just set the bar so high that even a Republican administration can't jump it in 2012.

Probably (and mostly) correct but they are also, at least for the moment, aligning with what a lot of voters pulled levers on last November.

Just as the previous congress aligned with on previous elections - SPEND.

Cut everything by 20 % except defense, cut that by 10%, and SS/MC/Ed bring to 2006-2008 levels.

Anti-establishment, no, the silent Majority.

This is not a whim,If they didn't get the message this time, except for the one's that buy their way in, they'll lose their power next time.

just get us out of Wars we aren't need to be in, reduce overhead in DoD
that would be more than 10 pct and do something about entitlements which is what almost 50 pct or more of the entire budget.
