Talking Striper Fishing is still great!!! Shared trip dates

Hi All, sorry for the late report but things have been crazy, we have been fishing the past 6 days and it has been nothing short of awesome. We are still using live mackerel which are never hear this long. That is what keeps bringing the fish into Boston Harbor as well as a lot of herring, pogies and small bait everywhere.

I would like to give a play by play but am short on time to get things done around here LOL its tough when fishing gets in the way!!!

Every day we were out last week we managed some really nice bass. Last Thursday's charter we managed 5 bass and 1 big 12 lb bluefish.

Saturday we caught about 15 bass, all but 2 were keeper bass. The bass weighed between 15 and 31 lbs and we also got a big 13 lb Bluefish, these are some big, hard fighting, choppers.

Sunday was another great day with alot more blues that bass, we caught 8 Blues between 8 & 11 lbs and 5 Bass between 17 & 29 lbs.

Tuesday we slammed the Striped Bass again with 15 fish but the 8 biggest Stripers were between 16 & 32 lbs. We did not get any blues that day but what a banner bight on the Stripers.

Wed we had a good day but also had angler issues. We managed 2 big bass in the 28 lb class, But dropped 5 fish due to the hooks pulling out. But we won't go there right now!!!. LOL

Thursday was good as well as we had a gentlemen and his son down from NH, Well the little guy landed 4 bass between 19 & 23 lbs and his dad managed to also pick up a few nice bass in the 33 inch range and a nice fat Blue around 10 lbs, His son said he just wanted to catch a dog fish, now mind you, dog fish are a small sand shark that are everywhere here in the summer and are more of a pain when trying to use bait for bass and blues as they will come up and chomp them in half. Well he got his wish as he also managed to catch his 1st dogfish LOL

The Striped Bass fishing in Boston Harbor right now is some of the best fishing we have seen here in many, many years. With all the great weather we have been having and all the bait around I think this year will go down as one of the best fishing seasons ever for here.

We have plenty of good dates available for Shared or Private trip. The Bluefin tuna bite is heating up again as well so if you are interested give us a call and we will get you out there.

Shared Trip dates available.

Thursday July 29th - open
Sunday August 1st- open
Thursday August 5- open
Saturday August 7th - open
Sunday August 8th - open

We have other dates available so if you are interested in a trip give us a call and we will try and get you scheduled.

Tight lines,
Jules
