Boat Envy

I lost some of my boat envy today when a neighbor told me his Grady 306 Canyon consumed 72 gallons per hour at WOT.....

That's why you don't run wide open throttle.

Ya know. That is totally insane and not for me but
That boat at wot probably does what 38 kts
So 38 miles for 73 gallons is like 1.9 miles per gallon
There are lots of boats that burn more at wot and won’t get 38 miles away

Again not for me as I’m an inboard guy. But the mpg of these rocket ships are more impressive than allot of boats.

I’ll take my 17 kt cruise thou
