Anybody fish the start of this Blow?

Tried for a decent Bone on the north side at first light, and then gators or Alberts on the south side running tide. Found fish and had a couple swipes here and there, but nothing put on the beach. Looked like a good old fashion squall when we packed it in.

Fished the drop yesterday from first light until the bottom, which is when the rain and wind picked up. Small to medium sized bass(about 12 lbs) were in loose scattered pods out over 18 to 35 FOW, no surface feeds,I trolled a 6" hand carved I made and my partner trolled an SP minnow, most fish were 8 to 10 feet down..NO bluefish..

A good run is better than a bad stand!

He wanted a bluefish, so bad, they have been a PITA all week, when you need one they vanish,he kept saying, were marking all these fish, I cant believe there are no blues..didnt break my heart!..that sized bass are feisty,at least the only hazard is hooks.. no teeth..dude with me always wears sandles,I wear deck boots, one of those 20 something youngsters jumped off the hook.. NOW he knows why I wear deck boots.

I did not but my neighborhood had a real good bite of Alberts this morning for the 2 yaks and 2 boats that braved the wind early. By 9 they all bailed too tough.
