So...Watcha think?

Well I found the El Camino for our project. It's a 72, pretty rough, straight 6. But to a 15 year old it's pretty cool (and I kinda like it too).
It's gonna get a full frame off and a fresh small block.
Awww......the things we do

That's the sellers garage , pretty sweet. I'm still trying to get a trailer to haul it home.
We're gonna lift the body off the frame, have to weld in some floors and do over the bed, inner wheel wells - the usual stuff. No beach buggy here (we don't have beaches in Ct).Someone bolted a Muncie 4 speed behind the 6 probably put discs up front, a small block, headers, exhaust, and then spray it. We have about a year and a half before he's driving, it'll be fun.

cowl induction hood! makes 'em look mean. and you've just got to get rid of the one-wheel squeal! good luck and have a ball. oh yeah one more thing, if your son decides he'd rather have an automatic, i've got a big block 56 bel-air sedan that would love that 4 speed. ha ha
