Wish I had a police scanner so I would know how he's doin. I'd hate to wait till 11pm to get the details on the local news channel. Larry just hit the caps lock and hit the row of numbers at the top of the keyboard so we'll know you're still with us.

2 days no heat? how can you live like that, wow
you must be ready to kill something
how are your pipes not frozen
you must have a fireplace or something right

I guess you hired a jamoke to service your burner wow
that sucks

Arrow pipes won't freeze

until you've gone thru a week of minus twenty

i have an electric oil filled radiator down there
with a small oscillating fan next to it to keep
the warm air moving for over night.

hey Larry! throw us a bone will ya?

i'm going on 2 years with no heat
soon to be resolved -i hope-

cutting kindling in living room with
the chop saw and splitting here too
to feed the rotation of drying wood
and ready to be burned wood.

it's "survival tactics" at it's finest

tomorrow it'll be 37 degrees and it will
feel like spring- so i'll be running the chain saw.
(not in the house lol)

Let me take a stab at this one.You hired someone to do a tuneup and regular maintenance of your oil burner the technician aka jamoke found a problem which quickly escalated to an emergency as the parts have to be shipped from Taiwan and due to it being Xmas season parts will not arrive until after the New Years.Meanwhile to keep the house warm you are forced to burn this years crop of prey swimmers. AM i close.

You have to switch to the thread "Nightmare on Plain St" to get caught up on this saga........
