Brewed 10 gallons yesterday
Brewed 10 gallons of all grain yesterday. Mashed 20 pounds of grain to get 12 of wort. Split it into 2 batches , Brewed one half as is to get a Strong Amber ale and one half I added 5 more pounds of specialty malts to make a Robust Porter. I calculate about 6.5% ABV for the Ale and as much as 7+ %ABV for the Porter. In about 3 to 4 weeks they should be ready.
