I never understood people. Working as an EMT, I'd picked up the same guy on 3 separate occasions with sever burns on his face from smoking with his oxygen on.

It's reasons like this that sometimes humans should step back to let natural selection step in.

Fishing acquaintance bought a motor home so is wife's large O2 tank could tag along, while they traveled, thing must have been like 1000 lbs. she had a 50' hose attached to it
The motor home had a low cloud bank of Winston's and Lucky Strike smoke circulating.
They refused to open the windows, ever.

I don't get it either.
