Tomorrow
Last minute notice but weather forecast looked like a blow for tomorrow but now looks somewhat ok.
Looking for 1 person who wants to tuna fish sitting on anchor and watch balloons all day tomorrow.
Going to definitely decide next NOAA update, should be about 10pm.
Certainly not going to be a bluebird day so no pukers
Give me a call 508 326-9287

A slow pick but we got 2 short fish. Dolphin were VERY active in the morning, more so than I have seen before. Sloppy in the morning with confused seas (4-6 crisscrossed)but laid down nice in the early PM and had a very pleasant ride home. Both on Ballyhoo. One rigged with a chrome slopped head right behind the boat the other I had rigged naked as a stinger bait on a small squid splash bar way back on tip of rigger. Took this one home for the grill. (belly was packed solid with herring)
I don't think many comm fish were taken but I am pleased with how we did because for me a comm fish is a bonus, I just like fishing for them stand up and taking one now and then for eating.

Too much to ask if you were North, South or East of the Cape?
Great fish, congrats!

Nice fish, season's not over by a long shot!
I've already said I am done chasing Charlie on my boat for the season.

East of ACK
I heard it picked up late in the afternoon and for those that stuck out the night they had a great day today weather wise. I did hear noise of a number of big fish caught but I don't have much in the way of first hand info (yet). All I know is when we left, it was a slow pick.
Woke up, felt good, looked out the window and decided I had to go toggin...
When the wind stops blowin you have to go this time of year, you can't put it off. (luckily I have a wife that understands that)

I was hoping to get out this weekend, but unless Chris Fischer wants to lend me the Ocearch, I think East of Chatham Sat is out for me. There might be a weather window for Sunday AM, but I'm not counting on it.
If it lays down I little, I'll make the run. My boat does well in the slop, but you still have to be smart out there especially this time of year.

When are you going again KR. I may be able to be coaxed out of retirement to fish with the resident s-b tuna king.

this was my first time fishing out of chatham. interesting place to launch from. kind of a funky ride from ryders to open water. slid across a shallow bar or 2. must be fun with any sort of sea.
