A little different spin

This is my take on a spinner. Glad I made one. Got tired of spinning by hand.

I designed it to make it easy to topcoat un-rigged lures. I make all my epoxying wires with the same square end and mount them as shown. The groove holds them in place and the little bungee keeps them from walking loose while spinning.

The eyes and other bungees laced through them are for when I do rigged ones. The bungee is handy for drawing tension in a pinch. I also have the foam disk for when I epoxy the wraps of dressed tail hooks.

You can spin 16 un-rigged lures with ease. 16 rigged ones if you are careful mounting them but 8 at a time is safer.

Powered by a waldomart BBQ motor. One day I will build a dust cabinet for it and put some lights in it for heat.

I like it great job. I use the same rotisserie but it only does one at a time. I'm guessing it's fast enough to prevent sag. How did you connect the allthread to the square hole? I thought about building one similar but keeping the housing stationary and adding a pulley to each end to rotate eyelets. Thanks for sharing now if I can only find the time to turn.

I just filed the end square and then put a little duct tape on it to make a tight fit.

Thanks for taking me fishing Grandpa!
