Squirrel Control

i have a couple of determined squirrels that have created havoc around my decks bird feeders- they have destroyed and damaged a number of them. any ideas besides trapping and relocating welcome- i like birds more than squirrels .

yes here's a tip.... and i know this from having a parrot for twenty years.
In the parrot food there was always dried hot jalapeno' peppers.... and i often wondered
why they liked to chew on them.... tried it once and it was a 3 alarm fire in my mouth HOT!
it doesn't affect the birds palate (OR TONGUE) for some reason....

same thing applies to our native Birds: so-> give them a 3 alarm fire in there mouths
buy a CAYENNE pepper bottle of spice or several of them at an outlet store
and put some (dampened with a fine water spray) sunflower seed out for them
with cayenne pepper liberally coated and as they stuff their faces or eat them
they'll soon be running for water,,,

BBs or pellets

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

That's why I feed safflower. It's more expensive but the critters don't like it.

My mom swears by the feeders that close automatically when a squirrel jumps onboard.

Having daughters &city neighbors I couldn't shoot them so when caught in a have a heart trap I would leave for twenty four hours or more until the coyotes tried to get in the trap. at this point when dropping them off at a distance they didn't come back.

Eight squirrels and two raccoons

pellet to the postierior usually drives them away for awhile, but there are so many Ican't tell them apart.

On a side note, my mother knows how I feel about these glorified rats, and she saw something at Newbury Comics that she thought I would get a kick out of.

There are called "Squirrel Underpants"

It's a small pair of Y-fronts, tidy-whities for the tree rat.

I laughed my arse off at this gag gift.

If you get a chance, look for them online, and you'll see what I mean.

I am a legend in my own mind!

Black squirrels are... as i saw many there 40 years ago
more than i could count

so it seems their genetic traits have moved southeast
quite a distance....

Counting the one this morning, I think I'm up to 19-20 of the tree rats "removed from the population" since we moved into our house in December. Gamo Bigcat 1200 from about 30 yards away.
