Toll roads may surge under a $1 trillion infrastructure proposal being floated by Donald Trump.
there goes your big tax break or extra dollar an hour conservatives have been praising as helping the little guy
House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) endorsed the idea

If we kickoff a major infrastructure project (which the previous administration talked about, never got around to), it's going to involve citizens paying for it, that's how the world works. The cement isn't free, the construction crews aren't Habitat For Humanity volunteers. Better for working people to have their raises/bonuses, than to not have them. If someone pays $2,000 a year in tolls, it's still better to have the raise/bonus, than to not have it. Even if that raise gets eaten by tolls, it's better than if they didn't have the raise.

If they spend a trillion, that's $3,000 for every one of us. Someone who got a $1 an hour raise, if they are full time, got a raise of $2,000 a year. If the feds take $3,000 from that working Joe, his raise pays for it in 18 months, then he can go back to pocketing the raise.
