Always have a couple of his CDs onboard. He's woken up my harbor on many occasions.

Never seen them live but have a bunch of live recordings. Like them all, #41 might be the favorite right now though.

Funny. I never got into them. I tried but I just never connected with them. Very popular with a huge following. I guess I am just missing the boat

Great tune Salty. I have to say I prefer the Dave version to the Dylan or Hendrix.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger - popularity aside, can't say they have ever done much for me either...

Hey, there's no accounting for musical tastes - it either do or it don't, I guess...beats me -

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

I really like the older stuff, one of my favorite shows though, they can all rip it up, best time I saw him was probably solo acoustic with Trey Anastasio at Bonnaroo in 04, they played some incredible stuff that night, lots of live soundboards available on etree.org

BUMP

Seeing them May 30 at Fenway. Can't wait!

This one seems appropriate for S-B.

Dave gets pretty intense, long song but check it out about half way through.
