Unhappy Is today Friday the 13th in disguise?

I drive in to work (almost) as I get to the intersection of RT.s 105 and 6 in Marion the truck just dies. Well now? Fuel pump is working but no petrol to the ol' engine ( the service engine soon light came on on the highway) If I let it sit for a moment it would turn over then catch for a second then back to just turning over. Well a good samaritan stops and helps me push it off to the side then a good samaritan tow truck operator whose kids I knew at the school I work at stops and tows me free to the local garage.
Finally I get to work and my computer was frozen solid. Locked up tight, no access. Finally our tech guy showed and got me unlocked. Sheesh, with ther last several days of FAFSA forms and pin numbers and CSS forms and deadlines, I need a freakin' break!eessed:

Why even try.........

If your luck turns to good....maybe it will burn to the framerails in the mechanics garage! Got fire insurance?

Just joking Flap...its a sweet truck you got....just sucks when things like that happen.

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Ahhh GM... the one in the tank, nice.... I know it's more dough, but have them check out the tank too, there about half of that, but the salty sand might have a start at eating that tank..... and if it goes, it's the labor all over again....

FAFSA forms.... like a plauge, once you start, they never go away, an annual event........

Here is my Friday, I am 90 miles from home when my 2004 Dodge goes to full throttle on 128 in Beverly.
I call Chrysler road side assistance they send out a ramp truck, to bring it to Herb Chambers Dodge the service manager asks if I bought the truck from them,I say no I live on Cape Cod.
Chambers would not even look at it until the middle of next week, I tell them I am 90 miles from home, they say tuff luck.
I then call AAA, 87 mile tow to Hillers in Marion.
Once I get to Hillers the service manager sends a tech out looks it over finds broken throttle cable.
Hiller would have gotten me back on the road in no time but did not have the part, but they did give me a loner car to use until the part comes in.
Just goes to show you Chambers big dealer dont care about customers.
Hiller small family, dealer goes the extra mile to take care of their customers, it took a little of the sting out of the day.

Well at least you weren't at the end of a long beach near an inlet when it quit. Those tows can cost more than the fix. Remember no matter how bad a situation is it can always get worse. Good luck. I hate fri13th too.

try roberstons gmc on 28 in wareham. they were good to me last week. when i would apply my front brakes, the abs would kick in, even at 20 mph, and was told it was my speed sensors, my buddy just had his replaced for 500 beans, robertsons told me that they could just clean and lube them, which is what they did for 112.00., and there like new. i was very pleased that they were and honest, and didnt rake me over the coals and just replace them.
