Been Stopping In

Been watching your forum sense returning from Cape Cod last Sept. I'm Canadian guy that always new that surf fishing would be a blast.

So my deal Oldroe would reference steelheading the north shore of Lake Ontario, fresh water semi retired tournament bass guy, fished lots of walleye and that crazy thing ice fishing.

It's 10.5 hrs to Cape Cod so I never will get real good at surf fishing just have a blast messing around.

The background plan is to do Cape Cod a few times, when the wife wears the shopping out go a little further south and repeat.

have you fished all 3 great lakes OldROE ?

lake Michigan has 100 different kinds of fish i heard....

i still don't understand why one of the great lakes isn't
full of LAKE stripers but i guess it's a political thing.

Welcome to S-B

My main river is the Ganaraska in Port Hope it's been assume this year. With the amount of 15+ trout I've caught and seen caught next year should the year of a 20.

The Ganny is about the size of Little Salmon River with a open all year season at the mouth. (Frog Water).

We have 8-9 smaller creeks with in 30-40 minutes.

I also go to Georgian Bay. Large Bay off Huron I think. Went with the guys from Redwing Tackle Blackbird Floats and fished the Cat and 1 other creek.

Fished Salmon River and Little Salmon a lot in the late 80's . Got some crazy stares try to explain float fishing to locals in Pulaski. Did that sure change.

No Asain Carp yet. Could use that smack occasionally! I expect all efforts to slow or stop them will fail.

They should be easy to catch.
