Good Time Today!

Great seeing so many friends today at PlugFest/TFCTF Day! Had a great time chewing the fat about fishing, plugs and catching up in general! Thanks to Bruce and his kitchen crew Bomba and Guppy for a great job!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

I had an great time. I got to talk all the luremakers and a lot of the rest of the participants. It's amazing how much you can learn at these events. This one was smaller than the past, reminding me of my first Plugfest back in Slip's shop. Thank you Bruce for once again organizing this event. And thanks to John for keeping SB.com going so that Plugfest exists. And a special thanks to all the folks that did all the grunt work it takes to make Plugfest a success again. I had a nice time talking with Martha Merwin about John. What a great morning! I wish I had more time.

Had a good time. Well worth the drive as always. Liked the combo of 2 events on one day . With the different faces that I saw, I wish I could put a user name to a face. I think stick on name tags would be good for next time.

I, too, enjoyed meeting and chatting with so many interested striper people with general stories to share and memories of plug-making in Slipknot's garage. I know that John Merwin was pleased to have been part of the 2005 plug-making group. Now I know who made many of the Middleboro plugs that he collected/traded. Thanks to Bruce and John for organizing and hosting a successful PLUGFEST! And thanks to all for a delicious lunch. -- Martha Merwin

yes it was a pleasure talking yesterday. I'll bet there would have been some real jealous guys if they had known you have a 50 lber to your name. Thanks again for the pleasure of seeing your husbands collection and the wood. I know when I turn up some plugs with it they will be special.

Sorry to miss yesterday's event. Needed the extra day to regain health and strength, and did not want to possibly chance getting others sick with this winter bug.
