I love Tal. In the middle of his carrer in NYC, he quits the jazz scene, goes back to Jersey as a sign painter. He didnt resurface until the late 60s. This is my fav, a young Tal with the red Norvo trio. Red on vibes, Tal on guitar and Charles Mingus on bass. Talk about speed.
