Question Dental problems

I have a broken back tooth and it is not reparable I need to have it pulled and either have an implant or a triple bridge with the bridge being the less expensive does anyone have any opinions about either

I am really not sure what to do and I don't really want to spend $2500 on a implant

I had 1 implant (2 teeth) put in about 12 years ago as a result of an accident. No one can tell, it gives me no problems and I don't have to deal with a bridge. Best thing I did.

Implant. Or have it pulled. That bridge will have your a_s in the chair more times than you can count.

Let them pull the tooth, fill the socket with bone graft and decide later! You might find you don't have to do anything....

So far that is as far as I've gotten with a front lateral incisor, kind of getting use to the gap.

I just had a real bridge made and installed a few months ago and I love it. Been wearing this juvenile POS thing for years so any upgrade from that made my day. I have five teeth on mine and it cost $1650.00. Can chew and eat like a M&$^%*&%$^ with it. I'll make a recommendation if you want.

Bob,
I had four teeth pulled when I was in the fourth grade. Two first teeth and two second teeth, between the front teeth and the eye teeth on both sides. After braces were done with the dentist made this "flipper" out of plastic with the two teeth on it I was missing. It broke and needed to be repiared several times a year. Finally after getting new ones made by a buddy of mine I just gave up for a year and a half a while ago and didn't wear any plate. Never smiled or opened my big mouth much either. Finally went to dentist and asked him what I could do. Didn't know Altus paid for half, which was awesome. Now I have a metal/wire bridge work that snapps in and out like its nothing. Takes a couple of days to get uesed to. I know you know what am talking about. I am sure you've seen people with the wire around thier front teeth holding a bridge in. It looks natural and feels great. It is the adult version of the "flipper" I wore for years. Wish I spent the money years ago.

If you get an implant, the stud goes into the grafted bone and the "tooth" attaches to the stud.

Well they move the date up and it's getting yanked tomorrow

I was told you don't always need a bone graft and if not it will be 1/2 the cost, or he may tell me to do a bridge

I'm sure this is going to screw up my weekend
