Removed Until I can determine if this is a 1208 or 1209.

It's a 1209, unable to change title so will repost.

What weight does it throw well? Any thoughts on whether it is an SU or SW1208? Photos please.

Bought it back in 07 From Julian Pepper (MassBass) who used to be on the site, his wrapping job with Fuji parts. 28 inches to bottom off reel seat to butt end.
Tan gold and black wraps.
Tossed it a number of times, nice rod, just prefer a 2 pc. Spinning.
Looking for $100.

Can toss in a lighly used ABU 7000CS Pro Rocket, Black Loaded with 50lb. Power Pro for another $100. or B/O.

May consider a trade for 10 or 11 ft 2 pc. of comparable value.

if there's any interest i'll post / email pics
I might be crazy offering this but I have an original Murat S-Glass 10' 2 piece. They really didn't rate the rods back when this was made (probably mid-70s), but probably 1 to 4oz. If you are interested for an even swap of rod and reel, I'll post a pic.

No boat, back in the suds.

What's the condition of the wraps and the blank? Was it used when you got it? If you were closer to me in southern RI, I'd be interested and would take a ride to see it. If it's in nice shape... it probably would go home with me.

No problem Beetle. I really didn't want to get rid of it. Murat originals a worth a fortune. Not a lot of them left intact. His son-in-law, Dave Hammock died in 1994 so none have been made with the Murat name for 18 years.

No boat, back in the suds.

Hey Beetle
Just wanted to get some info out here. As far as I recall it's a RS 1209SW, not the pool cue SU version. It was hardly used when sold to Beetle. Wrapped it in '05 or so. Good all around rod.
Hope this helps.
