New to species

Like to say hello to the forums and Introduce myself. My name is Lee and I live in wetern Massachusetts. A weekend warrior fisherman for the better half of my life. And I would say more of a bass fisherman than anything.

My fishing buddy visits the shores in Rhode Island frequently and has gotten me very interested in surf fishing for striped bass. But From what Im learning through reading the forums is that this is a completely different world then throwing jigs into heavy structure if you know what I mean.

Im going to make my first post about a current rod and reel set up that im considering purchasing. If you could take a look at it and leave your opinions, that would be great. Other than that Id like to say thank you and I look forward to reading about your knowledge and any questions you could help me answer. Thank you... Lee

Hey Lee, welcome aboard. The guys here are great. Lots of good info and helping hands. If you ever feel like throwing a line on the NorthShore, let me know, I'll show you some spots that are fun and will give you an idea of what it's all about.
