When live lining tuna, is it better to tie your live bait a hook or fish'um as you would bass? I wanna float them on ballons w/o kites.

I just put the hook up thru the roof of it's mouth for macs. Pogies cross thru the nose in front of the eyes

We tie the leader to the nose w/ a couple clove hitches and bury the hook just under the skin on macks & stich it to the upper side for herring. More work, but why show them any more gear than you have too.
