What's wrong, is that it's a deep blue state, run by gentrified liberals, who won't say "no" to any labor union request. ANother poll came out today, we are losing population faster than any other state. How does THAT not make the politicians look in the mirror?

In addition to the already astronomical tax rates, out current state debt is $27,000 per person, $135k for my family of 5. In other words, my 3 boys (ages 8, 5, and 4) already owe the state 27k each, and they had no say whatsoever in how that money was spent. It's a form of slavery.

It's a Marxist sh*thole, I can't imagine what it's going to look like in 15 years. I guess it will look like Detroit. No idea, but I know it's not pretty,

Some of the highest tax rates in the nation, applied to some of the highest incomes in the nation, equals a ton of tax revenue. Add to that, hundreds of millions every year from the casinos to the state. With all that, they still managed to overspend by 27k per person, and on what? Our roads and bridges are falling apart, our cities are violent, abject failures.

Some polls just came out that showed that CT was ranked LAST in GDP growth last year, and ranked FIRST in population exodus. Think about that. And what did the legislature just vote to do last week? Increase taxes and spending.

Ask a liberal in CT the best way to get out of a deep hole, they'll tell you it's to keep digging.

$101 million for bicycle and pedestrian trails? That has got to be s##t load of bike trails. CT is in self destruct mode. Likely time to move elsewhere before the house price goes south in a big way.
