Geez, i swear this thread is a curse
Just on my way home from hockey comin over the braga bridge into fallriver in the never ending confuction traffic amd blew a brake line. Thank god parkin brake worked when i jumped on it swerving into the other lane to avoid the range rover in front of me cause i almost rearended a cruiser. Was able to make it off the highway into a parkin lot in fall river and left it for the nite. Hope the new tires i put on it 2 weeks ago r still on it when i go back tomorrow.

Andy, if the cluster fails again (which I'm sure it will) I'll get in touch. Thanks for the advice.

Mike- Careful where you bring it...some places are charging huge money to make new lines for it. You can buy a complete pre-bent kit for under 200 now. They now come coated and are much better. Check all the lines, once one goes (usually along the frame rail, they all go)

Does your incessant whining make you feel better? How about you just shut the hell up and suck it up? It's a fishing forum , so please just stop.

No idea...if I was looking for a p/u I would look the number up before texting, one of the reasons I said "if it's real".

Rust: Brake lines, fuel lines, fuel filler neck, bumpers, both, wheel wells in the bed, the bed behind and above the wheels, Front fenders above the wheels. BRAKE LINES! 3 repairs so far on my 2003.

That is exactly what happened on my 2000 (which I got rid of). Blew a brake line and when the guys replaced it every one of the other brake lines started to blow. Replaced all with the new coated one.

Really? That's about half of what they cost on my Tahoe a month ago with the shop that I am handling the late owner's estate for......
