Awesome trip to Chappaquid#^&#^&#^&#^&.
9 days of no internet or cell phone access, pure bliss !
Relax and keeping it simple with a band of extraordinary urban anglers.

I hope I can recreate some of those great memories had on those beaches.... Nice pics. One of the nicer places I have had the pleasure to cast from....

Nice work Wayne and Guppy.

Makai: thanks for the pics. Beautiful. Glad you had a nice trip. Caught my first ever striper 25 years ago on the Vineyard with my father passing one rod with an atom popper back and forth…. and haven’t fished it since. I gotta get back out there… and score a rich broad who’ll keep me

The rod is amazing. It’s like casting air. With all kinds of backbone.
Everyone who tried it wants one for Christmas 🎅

Yes the rod is such a pleasure. I beat the hell out of it this Albie season and it performed flawlessly. Your right like air.

You had to be mindful of the tide if you were walking from one side of the rip to the other to get to your vehicle. Wave would be right up to the "cliff" at times. Couple of multi-day runs of blues there. Some were beastly big.

Bummer. Saw your boat on the mooring this morning so I take it you weren’t at the usual spot.
