NEKF Annual Flea Market

MARCH 18TH at Stoneham Elks, 471 Main St. (rear door), Stoneham MA from 9am to noon, with a lot of members of the NEKF community (myself included) will have tables and stuff for sale. They are also have a raffle for the Heroes on the Water which includes a Rainshadow RCLB70XL, a Penn 4000 and I put a plastic, jig and hook package to go with it.

Well its official, I'm a tackle hoarder, OMG how did I accumulate so much stuff? Spent a lot of time doing what I've been meaning to do for years and that is to finally go through every planno tackle box (dozens and dozens) to see what I need and what I can get rid of. Since I plan to bring only two tables, only a portion will come. Here is a short list and some pics.

Three boxes of salt water plugs I just don't use, from new to used in need of some new hooks, but most are fishable. Small box of fluke rigs, many have never been opened. Box of misc. floats, tubes, mackerel rigs and more lead head jigs then I could ever fish from 3/8oz to 5oz. Some misc smiling bill and black sea bass jigs, some might need some work, others are fishable and few are new. Box of Owner hooks and Kalin Ultimate Saltwater jigs (my personal favorites). My Ledge Runner Bait plastic jerkbaits, split tails and shads from 4" to 13"

Last year I only brought some salt water plastic, this year I dug into my old freshwater stuff. Nice box of fresh water plugs most in excellent condition, box of mepps spinners, some spoons and a box of float & fly jigs. Will also have a old but very decent Planno tackle box I don't use, which would be a great starter for a youngster.

Probably should put the date on this thread. Because it's not today, unless I'm the only one here...

Oops sorry, yes March 18th, would have been cold lugging stuff in this morning. I'm hoping to lighten my load going home, especially in the jig department. I stopped canal fishing a long time back and now that I'm in a kayak and not a center console, I look to unload as much as possible. All those jigs are basically new, very few have seen the water, so I'm planning on half price from what I see online. So from what I can tell the price average is $1.25, $1.50, $1.75 and $2 and up for 1, 2, 3 and 4oz jigs, so figure half price. The new flukes rigs I'd do the same, if they cost me $6 and they are new, I'm taking $3 and so it goes.
