Monday 6.10

Skippy and I ran all over today, on the midday tide change all the bait was back between PHB and Race, couldn't get a Charlie to our bars nor did we see any. Did get to play a long time with this though: Basking shark 6 10 2013 - YouTube

Saw several of them black dots today from close to shore to 10 miles from land!

What's the equivalent of a ARC dehooker for a seal, 9mm?

went east on Monday...nothing, a few days earlier we got a nice fish and saw good action , lots of spotter planes and stick boats last week, fewer this week. Geez fishing around those guys is like bonito fishing in vineyard sound. They run right into a school of breaking fish wide open and then throttle back. I go offshore to get a way from the run and gunners. Now where do I go? Golf course is looking better and better.

Infections are a major major issue with them.

Cut the stupid things loose with a few feet, they can suffer with a hook and some mono.

That is such a crazy shot of the basking shark you got with the go pro. Gives me the creeps! Those things look prehistoric.
