Snook weights

I've been playin around with some snook poppers. I've found that the weight drilling for the tail weight is fron 1 1/2 to all the way past the belly hook hole as much as 3/4 in.These plugs all came from a dealers display and weren't finished. the popper is along the same idea as Masterlure,Nantucket and Cuttyhunk poppers. The question is this from being blems or did they have 3 different weight models.I'm trying to copy them and well this adds a question that makes me wonder if they just used blems on the dealer boards or was this intentional due to different weight models.
