Fish On Custom Wood Thread?

I am not a plug maker, but I always appreciated this thread; it was always heartening to see that there were still some folks dedicated to the art of wood. Anyone out there?

Not exactly a fish worth showing off, but I've been happy with the way this thing is looking.

George, I know you have posted that plug before, but that truly is one hell of a build. True craftsman.

Here is a cool one. Cookie cutter fish on Paul's Norris Needle copy.
Next drift had a legit #30 fish come airborne and miss it.

Poor Paul - He can't catch a break - even when he's helping others catch fish with his plugs!

Nice George, I hope that fish comes back around for you for another try at it.

First fish on a new plug that I've been working on. I'm calling it a Skonrad (longer and skinnier version of a Conrad).

I've been doing ok with the darters/bottle darters. Nothing really large yet. The bottle plugs I made get hit a lot but seems like I have a very low hook up ratio with them.

I haven't been out fishing much in daylight to do the topwater thing but finally found a pencil fish yesterday.

Damn, Jay. Nice fish, nice plug.

I've got some fish to 30#s on custom wood this year, but hard to take pics where I'm fishing. I've already lost two phones trying. Guess I should probably invest in a life proof case or whatever they're called

My first fish on a JLH glide bait from a recent outing. He held out on me all last season before finally gifting me with one for this year.

A "wannabe nice but not there yet by a long shot" fish. Still, after spending a big chunk of the winter trying to figure out this Dalecki darter thing I was happy enough to hit this on its first cast.

Hi Paul, did George's wooden version of a, ahem, Magic Swimmer steal all the mojo from all your plugs? What's up with your famous darters? Those Pichney Danny copies should be getting all kinds of attention around BH in the early hours? I need to see some evidence that you are still fishing and not just working on the Cape house!
