No Lip

Thanks to Billy (wrikerjr) for sending me a 2.25 oz original.
Thanks to Mr Musso for his genius. Very impressive swimmer (particularly at slow speed). Learned a ton trying to copy it. Once I had the medium it was easy to get the larger version to work, and the bottle darter was a simple step from there.

Fantastic work George. Painstakingly copied and success. What Musso model was that? Never saw a lipless Musso. Seen a Lex version though.

Sweet! Interesting with the low line tie...Is it strictly a surface swimmer or will it get down at all? I would be very curious to see what the action is like.

Well done for a closet bait fisherman....

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole

I made a mold out of that design last season...and cranked out a few in plastic....the plug worked great. I like the lip less design more of an S shape swim action then a Z and it swam well in hard currents too.

Honest to God on my very first test cast with that plug got me a 30#er last season (sad to say it was one of the biggest fish of the year for me last season)

I got rid of the first hook just left the belly and tail though

I ass-ume your talking about the yellow pred head type swimmer Numby's shown with 2 belly hooks ,, not the Lipless swimer with the single belly .. ,, (sure miss my calender)
