Bass abuse caught on camera

If you want to get pissed off, take a look at the Qualified Captain’s story on Instagram today. It will disappear in 24 hours... it’s a guy slapping another guy on a boat with 2 short striped bass. The fish look dead. Bottle of wine between his chair legs in the middle of the day.

I hope someone turns them in.

Not that I agree with the video, but it appears to originate from a shop in North Carolina. If the fish are from one of the rivers down there, then the minimum size is 18 inches. And before we get all bent out of shape over the minimum size, that's a different population with its own management program.

Understood Toby but perhaps they could show some respect for the species and what we do.

Absolutely! Like I said, I do not agree with their actions in any way, just wanted to point out that they were probably not undersized fish if landed in North Carolina.
