maine fishing ?

I will be in Maine the first 10 days of July . Can anyone recommend to me a place to surfcast from. I am staying near Sandy Point . Any help would be appreciated.

Far as where in Sandy Point I don`t know right now . We are staying with my wife`s relatives. I figure I will sneek out in the morning and night. Any luck with needle fish or darters ?
